Sync on Demand allows devices storing low-quality Thumbnail images to temporarily show a higher resolution Smart Preview version for editing or sharing. This is a perfect workflow for mobile devices when you’re on the go.
To enable Sync on Demand:
- Open Mylio Photos, click the More menu in the Navigation Bar, and choose Settings.
- Select Sync.
- Toggle the switch to the ON position next to Sync on Demand.
!NOTE: Sync on Demand requires access to your Smart Previews (typically stored on a primary computer, external drive and/or Cloud Service). You can access Smart Previews anytime with an internet connection and Smart Previews stored on a Cloud Service. You can also access Smart Previews from other devices you may have with you using a Mylio Hotspot (no internet required). If you anticipate being away from access to a device with Smart Previews or without an internet connection, consider using Tap to Sync to sync specific folders ahead of time for access to Smart Previews on-the-go.
