Deleting Media

Permanently deleting media can be necessary for a variety of reasons. Here are a few examples:

• A photo or video is no longer needed.
• Photos are blurry or otherwise unrecognizable.
• You have duplicates you wish to dispose of.

To delete a photo or group of photos:

1. Select the image(s) you want to delete.
   

*TIP: Learn how to select multiple images from a computer, or from a phone or tablet.

2. Right-click on your selection or click/tap on the Actions menu in the right sidebar and select Delete File(s) to permanently delete the file(s) from your Mylio Photos Library and file system.

*TIP: You can also delete files by clicking or tapping on the trash can icon in the right sidebar or pressing the delete key on the keyboard.

!WARNING: Deleting media from Mylio Photos is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Deleting media removes the selected files from your Mylio Photos Library, file system, and all Vaults.
