Finding Duplicates

1. Open Mylio Photos+ on a computer or tablet with access to all Originals.

*NOTE: Photo DeDupe can be accessed from a computer or tablet that has access to all Original-quality files. If your Original-quality files are stored on an external drive the drive(s) must be connected to the computer or tablet to find and remove duplicates.

2. Go to the Dashboard and select Actions, or open the Organize menu in the operating system menu bar.
3. Click on Find Duplicate Photos.

4. Photo DeDupe will list all files with one or more duplicates. Scroll through the list and review the differences between duplicate files. Click here for more information on reviewing duplicate sets.
5. Check the box for the duplicate file(s) you wish to move or delete or use Auto-Check to have Mylio Photos+ automatically detect the best files and mark the remaining files for removal or deletion.

*TIP: Quickly mark images for removal or deletion using the spacebar keyboard shortcut.

6. When you’ve finished reviewing the files, click the Delete Checked or Move Checked button.
