Getting started with photo management software can seem overwhelming, but our goal at Mylio Photos is to make the process fun and rewarding. If this is your first time using an application like Mylio Photos, here are a few ideas and concepts that can help you understand how Mylio Photos works.

Folders – Folders in Mylio Photos represent the folders on your computer, external hard drives, and other devices that contain your Original photos and videos.

Albums – Albums allow you to group and organize photos without affecting their location on your hard drive. Albums are virtual collections, like a playlist for your photos. One photo can be assigned to multiple albums.

Editing – Editing can help make your images look amazing. Mylio Photos contains essential editing tools that work equally well on your computer and mobile devices. You can adjust items like the exposure and tonal details as well as refine color and tint.

Face Recognition – Mylio Photos’ face recognition helps organize your photos by creating smart collections for each of your family and friends in the People view.

Map – The Map view organizes photos by location on a world map. Mylio Photos does this automatically for photos that have GPS metadata.

Metadata – Metadata is information that describes your image file. Some metadata is added automatically from your camera, such as the capture date, camera model, lens, and settings used. Other metadata can be added or edited manually, such as copyright information, keywords, ratings, and more.

Slideshows – Slideshows are a great way to showcase your favorite photos. Mylio Photos has several tools that allow you to create the perfect slideshow to share with family and friends.
