Guest Mode is an option that lets you hand your device to a family member, friend, or client so they can view photos without the risk of them editing, moving, or deleting your images.
Guest Mode disables:
- Moving, deleting, and renaming photos.
- Showing files in Finder/Explorer.
- Editing photos.
- Importing and Exporting Photos.
- Accessing the Settings menu.
- Adjusting your Mylio subscription.
Guest Mode Options:
- Allow Sharing lets users in Guest Mode share images. This is useful if they want to select photos to send to themselves or someone else.
- Allow Rating lets users in Guest Mode rate images. This is useful if working with someone else to get feedback on an album or folder of images.
Enable Guest Mode
- Click or tap the ellipsis icon
in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.
- Select Account.
- If desired, toggle the Allow Sharing and Allow Rating options ON.
- Toggle the Guest Mode option ON.
- Create a 4-digit PIN. This will enable you to turn Guest Mode OFF when your guest is finished.
Disable Guest Mode
- Click or tap the ellipsis icon
in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.
- Select Account.
- Toggle the Guest Mode option OFF.
- Enter your 4-digit PIN to turn off Guest Mode.
