Guest Mode is an option that lets you hand your device to a family member, friend, or client so they can view photos without the risk of them editing, moving, or deleting your images.

Guest Mode disables:

  • Moving, deleting, and renaming photos.
  • Showing files in Finder/Explorer.
  • Editing photos.
  • Importing and Exporting Photos.
  • Accessing the Settings menu.
  • Adjusting your Mylio subscription.

Guest Mode Options:

  • Allow Sharing lets users in Guest Mode share images. This is useful if they want to select photos to send to themselves or someone else.
  • Allow Rating lets users in Guest Mode rate images. This is useful if working with someone else to get feedback on an album or folder of images.

Enable Guest Mode

  1. Click or tap the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.

  1. Select Account.

  1. If desired, toggle the Allow Sharing and Allow Rating options ON.

  1. Toggle the Guest Mode option ON.

  1. Create a 4-digit PIN. This will enable you to turn Guest Mode OFF when your guest is finished.
