Understanding Linked Calendars

Linking your digital calendar to Mylio Photos creates Events automatically. Mylio Photos can import calendars from several services including Outlook, Gmail, and iCloud.

To add a Linked Calendar:

1. Click or tap the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.

2. Select the Linked Calendars section, then browse the list of digital calendars accessible on your device.

3. Toggle the calendar(s) you wish to link with Mylio Photos to the ON positions.

4. Once a Calendar has been switched ON, you can:
   • Give your calendar a Nickname to use in Mylio Photos.
   • Assign Categories to events from a specific calendar.
   • Show More Options to refine which events are shown in Mylio Photos.

Windows users will automatically see their Outlook Calendar(s) as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. To see Gmail and iCloud calendars, you’ll need to connect those accounts to Outlook by going to File > Info > Account Information > Add Account.

Android users will automatically see all calendar accounts connected under their device settings as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. To add an account, go to Settings > Passwords & accounts > Add Account.

macOS and iOS users will automatically see their iCloud Calendar(s) as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. To see Gmail and Outlook calendars, you’ll need to connect those accounts to your Apple Calendar.

• On macOS, go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts and add your Outlook or Gmail account.
• On iOS, go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account and add your Outlook or Gmail account.
  

*TIP: If you prefer to use webmail or an email client other than Outlook (Windows) or Apple Mail (macOS), try adding Linked Calendars from your mobile phone using the steps above. Once added, your Linked Calendar Calendars will be shown on all your Mylio Photos-connected devices.

To remove a Linked Calendar:*

1. Click or tap the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.
   

2. Select the Linked Calendars section, then browse the list of digital calendars accessible on your device.

3. Toggle the calendar(s) you wish to remove from Mylio to the OFF positions.
