Confirming Suggested Face Tags

Once you’ve identified a face, you can start tagging groups of photos with that person. Mylio Photos scans your images and when a face is recognized from a previous tag, it will ask you to confirm the identification.

1. Click or tap on the People icon in the left sidebar.
2. Each person you’ve tagged will have their own collection. If Mylio Photos has found new photos of that person, you’ll see an identification needed icon on the collection.

3. Double-click on a collection with the identification needed icon to view images of that person. Images that require your confirmation will have a checkmark, question mark, and X underneath them.

*TIP: When tagging photos in the grid view, Mylio Photos will automatically to Zoom to Face to help you easily identify and tag people. If you’d prefer to see the whole image, open the More menu and toggle the Zoom to Face option OFF.

4. Confirm face tags individually or as a batch.
   • To confirm face tags on individual images:
     • Click or tap the Checkmark icon to confirm the identification.
     • Click or tap the Question Mark icon to choose another name from your list or add a new name.
     • Click or tap the X to reject Mylio Photos’ identification.
   • To confirm face tags for a group of images:
     • Click or tap the Batch Tagging icon in the right sidebar.
     • Confirm the name at the top of the screen, or click into the name field to choose a different name.
     • Choose one of the following options:
       • Approve to confirm the identification of the visible images.
       • Reject to reject the identification of the visible images.
       • Ignore to reject the identification of the visible images and tell Mylio Photos that you prefer not to tag that person.
       • Skip to temporarily skip the images, so you can come back later to tag them.

5. When you’re finished, click or tap the Navigate Back arrow to return to the People View.
