Import Facebook Photos

1. Click or tap the plus icon in the top app bar to open the Add Media dialog.
2. Select Add media from an online service.
3. Select Facebook, log in to your account, and authorize Mylio Photos to access your Facebook account.
4. Choose the Facebook Album(s) you wish to import, then click the Select button.

5. Review the selected Facebook albums and Destination for your import. Mylio Photos will create a Facebook folder for your media by default, but you can choose an alternate location.

6. Click or tap Show Advanced Settings.

• Apply IPTC card on import – When IPTC info is enabled, toggling this switch to the ON position allows you to add creator and copyright information to the metadata of each imported photo.
• File naming – This allows you to rename files as you add them to your Mylio Photos Library. This can help make images easier to find with filters and searches. Click here to learn more about file naming options.
• Folder organization – This setting enables you to keep your folder organized “as is” or to change it to further organize the images in the folder by the date they were taken. Click here to learn more about folder organization options.

7. Click Copy Now to download and import your Facebook photos into your Mylio Photos Library.

*NOTE: Downloading images from Facebook will not automatically download new images that are added to Facebook. However, you can repeat the above process to download and import newly added images anytime. Remember that downloading a Facebook Album more than once may result in multiple copies of photos in your Mylio Photos Library. If you accidentally import duplicates, try the Photo DeDupe tool to find and remove duplicate media.

*NOTE: Import from Facebook to Mylio Photos is for photos only. Mylio Photos cannot import Facebook videos at this time.

*NOTE: Due to security and copyright restrictions, Mylio Photos can only download images that you have uploaded. Mylio Photos cannot import images that others have uploaded.
