Using QuickFilters in Photo DeClutter

By default, the Mylio Photos Photo DeClutter tool scans your entire library and lists all similar photos found. If your list of similar files is long, you may work with smaller portions of your library using QuickFilters.

QuickFilters let you select a specific portion of your library to work with.

1. Click or tap on the Dashboard icon  in the left sidebar, select Actions, then click or tap on Find Similar Photos.

*TIP: You can also access Photo DeClutter by opening the Organize menu in the operating system menu bar, and selecting Find Similar Photos.

2. Click or tap the funnel icon in the left sidebar to open the QuickFilters tool.

*TIP: Invoke Photo DeClutter from the Folders or Albums view to apply a QuickFilter automatically that limits the list of duplicates to the selected folder or album.

3. Choose the QuickFilter(s) you’d like to use. In this example, we’ll select a specific Folder.

4. Click the disclosure arrow next to By Folder, then navigate to the folder you want to use. Mylio Photos+ will update the list of suspected similar photos to only show results from the selected folder.
