Using the Mylio Clipboard

The Mylio Clipboard is a convenient tool that allows you to temporarily store photos when moving them between Folders or adding them to Albums.

1. Select the image(s) you want to move or add from any view.

*TIP: Learn how to select multiple images from a computer, or touchscreen device.

2. # Click on the hamburger icon in the right sidebar to access the Actions Menu then select Add to Mylio Clipboard.

3. Navigate to the new location where you’d like to move your photos and drag the image(s) from the Mylio Clipboard to the desired location.

*NOTE: Moving photos from one Folder to another, physically moves those files in your computer’s file system. Adding photos to an Album does not alter your computer’s file system or create duplicate files. Click here for more information.

4. When you’re finished, click the Clear button to close the Mylio Clipboard. (Clearing the Mylio Clipboard does not duplicate, move, or delete your Original photos.)

*TIP: You can also add media to the Mylio Clipboard by right-clicking on your selection and choosing Add to Mylio Clipboard or simply clicking and dragging your selection to the bottom of the screen to automatically open the Mylio Clipboard.
