Setting Up Mylio Photos for Multiple Users on One Mac or PC

Mylio Photos is designed for use with a single user per computer. However, there are methods available for those who need to access multiple Mylio Accounts with one computer.

!WARNING: Accessing multiple Mylio Accounts with one computer should be handled carefully to avoid data loss and corruption. We recommend this approach for advanced users only.

To access multiple Mylio Accounts on macOS or Windows, each Mylio Account will require a new, separate user account on your computer. For example, you could create a user account for work and one for personal use.

1. Create an additional user account on your computer
   • Windows – go to Settings > Accounts
   • macOS – go to System Preferences > Users & Groups
2. Log out of your primary account and log in using the secondary account
3. Open Mylio Photos and sign in using an alternate Mylio Account email address and password.

!WARNING: Ensure that only one Mylio Account has access to a particular folder or drive. We do not recommend multiple Mylio Accounts sharing external hard drives or other devices.
