Export to a Folder

At some point, you will want to export selected images from your Mylio Photos Library. Perhaps you cropped a photo and edited its exposure and color. Or, you may have added important information like keywords and ratings. In Mylio Photos, a record of those actions is saved as metadata in XMP sidecar files. When you export an image, those changes are applied to the photo, generating a file ready to share on websites or social media, send to others, or print.

1. Select the photo(s) you wish to export, click the Share icon in the right sidebar and choose Export.
2. Click the Export button, choose where you want to save your exported file(s) on your hard drive, then click Save/Open.

!NOTE: To Export images at Original Resolution and Maximum Quality, Mylio Photos must have an Original file available locally. If the Original file is not available, some choices may be grayed out.

*TIP: You can also export photos by right-clicking on your selection and choosing Photo > Export or by opening the Actions Menu and choosing Photo > Export.
