Most modern cameras can automatically add GPS coordinates and location information. However, suppose your camera doesn’t have that option (or you’ve turned GPS tracking off). In that case, you can manually add location information by dragging photos onto the map to assign an approximate location or enter exact GPS coordinates.

Location information can be viewed and managed in several places inside the Mylio Photos application.

  • Use the Map view to explore where images were captured and make minor location adjustments.
  • Use the Places section in the Info Panel to view or edit the exact location and GPS coordinates or assign an approximate location to a group of images using drag and drop.
    • Click the Map Expand Button to enlarge the map in the Places section. When you’re done working with the map, click the arrow to minimize the map.
