Linking a digital calendar to Mylio Photos automatically populates your LifeCalendar with Events. Mylio Photos can import calendars from several services, including Outlook, Gmail, and iCloud.

  1. Click the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.
  2. Select LifeCalendar and choose Linked Calendars.
  3. Browse the list of digital calendars accessible on your device and toggle the calendar(s) you wish to link with Mylio Photos to the ON positions.
  4. Once a Calendar has been switched ON, you can:
    • Give your calendar a Nickname to use in Mylio Photos.
    • Assign Categories to events from a specific calendar.
    • Show More Options to refine which events are shown in Mylio Photos.

Windows users will automatically see their Outlook Calendar(s) as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. Gmail and iCloud calendars must be added to Outlook by going to File > Info > Account Information > Add Account.

Android users will automatically see all calendar accounts connected under their device settings as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. To add an account, go to Settings > Passwords & accounts > Add Account.

macOS and iOS users will automatically see their iCloud Calendar(s) as Linked Calendar options in Mylio Photos. Gmail and Outlook calendars must be added to Apple Calendar.

  • On macOS, go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts and add your Outlook or Gmail account.
  • On iOS, go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account and add your Outlook or Gmail account.

Removing a Linked Calendar

  1. Click the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu and choose Settings.
  2. Select LifeCalendar and choose Linked Calendars.
  3. Browse the list of digital calendars accessible on your device and toggle the calendar(s) you wish to disable to the OFF positions.

Changing Access to Calendars

The first time you link a calendar in Mylio Photos using an Android, iOS, or macOS device, you’ll be prompted to give permission for Mylio Photos to access your calendar. If you accidentally refuse the notification, you can manually enable or disable access using the instructions below.

Changing Calendar Access on Android
  1. Open your device’s Settings app or menu.
  2. Select Apps or Apps & Notifications.
  3. Select Mylio Photos.
  4. Choose Permissions.
  5. Select Calendar.
  6. Toggle Calendar ON or OFF.

Changing Calendar Access on iOS
  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
  2. Select Privacy.
  3. Choose Calendars.
  4. Locate Mylio Photos in the list of apps that have requested access to your Calendars. Toggle it ON or OFF.

Changing Calendar Access on macOS
  1. Select the Apple menu on the top left of the screen.
  2. Select System Settings.
  3. Select Privacy & Security.
  4. Click on Calendars.
  5. Toggle the switch next to Mylio Photos ON or OFF.
