Create a New Folder or Subfolder

As you progress through organizing your media library, there may be times when you need to add a new folder or subfolder to your Mylio Photos Library. Once a new folder has been created, you can move files and folders as needed to organize your library better.

Adding a new Top Level Folder

1. Double-click Folders icon in the left sidebar.
2. Click the Navigation icon in the left sidebar to open the folder tree in the left panel.
3. Click the New Folder button.
4. Enter new folder name, assign relevant categories, then click Create.
5. Your new folder will be shown in the Mylio Photos Library section at the top of the Folders view.

Adding a Subfolder

1. Double-click Folders icon in the left sidebar.
2. Click the Navigation icon in the left sidebar to open the folder tree in the left panel.
3. Using the folder tree, select the folder where you’d like to place a subfolder, then click the New Folder button.
4. Enter new folder name, assign relevant categories, then click Create.
5. Your new folder will be shown inside the folder you selected in step 3.
