In addition to the ready-made options, Mylio Photos allows you to create and manage custom export presets tailored to your specific needs. To use an export preset, click on the Share icon , then click on the settings icon next to the share method you’d like to use. At the top of the settings list, click the Preset drop-down menu to select a preset.

Mylio Photos automatically syncs all custom presets to every device connected to your Mylio account. Once you create or update a preset on one device, it’s instantly available across all your other devices, ensuring a seamless workflow no matter where you work. This automatic syncing makes it easy to maintain consistency and efficiency across your entire Mylio Photos ecosystem.

Here’s how to create your own custom export preset:

1. Select the photo(s) you wish to export, and click the Share icon in the right sidebar.
2. Choose the sharing method you’d like to use (e.g., System Clipboard, Email, Export, etc.).
3. Tailor the export options to fit your project or workflow. If desired, you may choose an existing preset as a starting point and then modify it.
4. Click on the preset drop-down menu at the top of the panel, then choose Save as New Preset.

5. Enter a name for your preset, then click Save.
6. The next time you’d like to use this preset, click the preset drop-down menu and select it from the list.

Managing Custom Export Presets

Managing your custom export presets in Mylio Photos is essential for maintaining an organized and efficient workflow. Whether you’re updating a preset or removing unused ones, keeping your preset library up-to-date is key to a smooth exporting process.

Editing Existing Custom Presets

Mylio Photos allows you to easily keep your custom presets up-to-date and organized. You can quickly rename any preset for clarity or to better reflect its purpose. If you need to adjust export settings, creating a new version is a simple process. Here’s how to manage and update your presets:

To rename a custom export preset:

1. Click on the preset drop-down menu at the top of the export panel, then choose Manage Presets.
2. Click the Pencil icon next to the preset you wish to rename, then enter any necessary changes in the text field. When you’re done, click Save.

To adjust the settings of a custom preset:

1. Click on the preset drop-down menu at the top of the export panel, then select the preset you want to update.
2. Make any necessary changes, such as modifying the file type, dimensions, or quality.
3. Click on the preset drop-down menu at the top of the panel, then choose Save as New Preset.
4. Enter a name for your preset, then click Save.
5. If the old version is no longer necessary, you can delete it (instructions below) to keep your preset library clean and organized.

Deleting Unused Presets

2. Click the trash icon next to the preset you wish to delete, then click the Yes, Delete This Preset button to confirm. This will delete the export preset from all connected Mylio devices.

*NOTE: Built-in export presets cannot be deleted, ensuring that default options are always available for quick and easy use. You can, however, create new custom presets based on these built-in options if you need additional customization.
