Mylio Photos provides flexible options to hide personal or sensitive media without deleting them. You can hide individual Files, entire Folders, Albums, or People using one of two methods:

  • Assign the Private Category
  • Use the Hide Photo or Hide Folder command from the Actions Menu

Hidden media stays in your library but is only visible when viewing the Private or Everything Space.

Hide a Photo

To hide a photo (or group of photos) from view:

  1. Select the photo(s) you want to hide.
  2. Right-click the selection or click the Actions Menu icon in the right sidebar.
  3. Choose Hide Photo(s).

To confirm the photo is hidden, switch to a Space like Public, which excludes media marked as Private. Hidden photos will still be visible in the Everything and Private Spaces.

Hide a Folder

To hide a folder from view:

  1. Click the Folders icon in the left sidebar.
  2. Select one or more folders you want to hide.
  3. Right-click the selection or click the Actions Menu icon in the right sidebar.
  4. Choose Hide Folder(s).

As with photos, hidden folders remain visible in the Everything and Private Spaces but will be excluded from Spaces like Public.

View Hidden Media

Media marked as Private is only visible in the Private and Everything Spaces.

To view hidden media:

  1. Click the Spaces icon in the left sidebar.
  2. Select either the Private Space or the Everything Space.
  3. If prompted, enter your Master Passcode or Space Passcode, depending on your security settings.
