Install Mylio Photos on a Computer

Installing Mylio Photos for the First Time

*TIP: If you’ve already installed and activated Mylio Photos on another device, click here for instructions on adding a computer to your Mylio Photos account.

1. Go to mylio.com and click the Try Now Free button.
2. Enter your email address, then click Get Mylio Photos.
3. Choose the plan that works for you, then click the Continue with Selected Offer button.
4. Enter your billing information, then click the Start Free Trial or Pay button.
   • After entering payment details, an important email will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. This email contains your unique license key and instructions for redeeming your license.
5. On the Congratulations page, click the Download Installer button.
6. Install the application using the instructions below for Windows or macOS.

Windows

1. Locate the downloaded Mylio_x64.msix or Mylio_ARM64.msix file in your Downloads folder in Windows Explorer.
   
   
   
   

2. Double-click the Mylio_x64.msix or Mylio_ARM64.msix file and click Install from the Mylio Photos setup window.
3. Windows will ask you to allow this app to make changes on your device. Click Yes, then click Install.
   
   
   
   
   
4. When the installation is complete, select Launch to open Mylio Photos or open the Start menu and choose Mylio Photos from your Applications list.
   
   

macOS

1. Locate the downloaded mylio.dmg file in your Downloads folder. Access your Downloads Folder by clicking the Finder icon in your Dock, then using the top Menu bar and selecting Go > Downloads.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Double-click the mylio.dmg file to start the installation.
3. In the pop-up window, click and drag the Mylio Photos icon into the Applications folder shortcut on the right.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Launch Mylio Photos from your Applications folder. Access your Applications Folder by clicking the Finder icon in your Dock, then using the top Menu bar and selecting Go > Applications.
5. Once the installation is complete, you can eject and delete the mylio.dmg file.
   

Mylio Photos First Launch

1. Once installation is complete, Launch the Mylio Photos application and click the Let’s Go button.

2. Enter your email address, then click Continue.

3. Check your email.
   • In the email message, use the Click Here to Log In button, then click the Launch Mylio Photos button in your browser; or
   • Copy the code in your email and paste it into the Mylio Photos app window, then press enter or return on the keyboard.

4. Locate the License Key in your purchase confirmation email
5. Copy and paste it into the License Key Field in Mylio Photos to activate your Mylio Photos+ subscription.

6. Congratulations! Mylio Photos+ is now installed and ready to use. The confirmation page will show Welcome to Mylio Photos+. Click the Start Adding Photos and Videos button to begin Guided Import.

*NOTE: If your account was created before March 16, 2023, please enter your email address and password to log in to the Mylio Photos application.

To use the free version without entering credit card information, go to mylio.com/download. Follow the installation steps above. In step 5, choose Continue Without Key to complete the installation of Mylio Photos.
