Install Mylio Photos on a Smartphone or Tablet

!If you’re new to Mylio Photos, we recommend beginning your setup on a computer at mylio.com, rather than on a mobile device. (You can easily add your mobile device after setup is complete.) Starting on a computer gives you access to a free personalized onboarding session with a Mylio Expert, who will help you configure your account correctly from the start—avoiding common setup issues and ensuring the best experience.

*TIP: If you’ve already installed and activated Mylio Photos on another device, click here for instructions on adding a phone or tablet to your Mylio Photos account.

Installing on an iPhone or iPad (iOS)

1. Open App Store (iOS) and search for Mylio Photos.
2. Tap Get and enter your iCloud password if prompted to confirm the download.
3. Open the Mylio Photos app and tap the Let’s Go button.

4. Enter your email address and click Continue. A single-use login link will be sent to your email address.
5. Check your email and copy the six-digit login code or tap the Click Here to Log In button in your email.
   • If using the six-digit login code, switch to the Mylio Photos app and enter the six-digit code you copied from your email.

6. If you’d like to automatically import photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad, check the box to Allow Importing from Camera Roll, then click Continue.

7. Congratulations! Mylio Photos is now ready to use on your iPhone or iPad.

Activating Mylio Photos+ on your iPhone or iPad

Mylio Photos+ subscriptions can be purchased from the Mylio Photos website or from the Apple App Store.

To purchase and activate a Mylio Photos+ subscription from the Mylio website:

1. Visit account.mylio.com and log in to your Mylio account using the email address you used to install Mylio Photos on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Click the Subscribe to Mylio Photos+ button.

3. Select the plan that fits your needs and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase. Once your transaction is complete, an important email will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. This email contains your unique license key and instructions for redeeming your license.
4. Open the Mylio Photos app on your iPhone or iPad, then click on the Account icon in the top app bar.
5. Click Redeem Code and enter your unique License Key code.

To purchase and activate a Mylio Photos+ subscription from the Apple App Store:

1. Open the Mylio Photos app on your iPhone or iPad, then click on the Account icon in the top app bar.
2. Click the Subscribe button, review the benefits of Mylio Photos+, then click Subscribe.

3. Select the plan that fits your needs and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Installing on an Android Phone or Tablet

1. Download the app.
   • Open the Google Play Store and search for Mylio Photos.
   • Tap Install and enter your Google Play password if prompted.

2. Sign In
   • Open the Mylio Photos app and tap Let’s Go.

• Enter your email address and tap Continue, then check your email.

• Tap Click here to log in or, copy the six-digit login code, then return to the app and enter it.

3. Activate (optional)
   • If you have a Mylio Photos license key and haven’t used it on another device, enter the license key, then tap Activate Mylio Photos.
   • Otherwise, tap Continue Without Key. You can upgrade later any time.

4. Allow photo access
   • When asked, allow Mylio Photos to access photos and videos.

• If prompted to manage folders:
  • Tap Manage Folders

• Turn Enable importing of media from directories ON.

• Select the DCIM folder, tap Use this folder, then Allow.

5. Import your photos
   • The Guided Import screen will appear. Add any additional folders if you want, then tap I’m done to finish. Mylio Photos is now ready to use on your Android phone or tablet.

*NOTE: If your account was created prior to March 16, 2023, please enter your email address and password to log in to the Mylio Photos application.
