Mylio Photos allows you to move a top-level folder to a new location on your computer, external drive, or other connected storage, without breaking its connection to your library. This is useful if you want to free up space, reorganize storage devices, or move a folder to a faster or more reliable drive.

To relocate a folder on your device:

  1. In the Folders View, right-click the top-level folder you want to move.

  1. Choose More Folder Actions > Relocate Folder On Disk.

  1. In the macOS Finder or Windows Explorer dialog that appears, navigate to the new location where you want to move the folder.
Click Open (or Select on some systems).
  2. Review the confirmation dialog, then click Move to complete the relocation.

Once complete, Mylio Photos will continue to manage the folder from its new location without any interruption to syncing or organization.
