Remove or Delete People Tags

Remove a Face Tag from a Single Photo

1. Open an image in Single Photo View.
2. Click the info icon at the top of the right sidebar to reveal the right panel and access the Info Panel.
3. Scroll down to the People section. Under Known People, click on the face tag you wish to remove and choose Untag [person’s name] in selected photos.

Remove a Person and Delete all Associated Face Tags

At some point, you may want to remove a person you’ve tagged in Mylio Photos permanently. This will remove the face tags associated with this person and delete the collection associated with their name from People view but will NOT delete the original photos.

1. Click the People icon in the left sidebar and select the person you wish to remove.
2. Right-click your selection or tap the kebab icon in the right sidebar to access the Actions menu, then choose Delete Person.

!NOTE: Delete Person will permanently remove all tags for this person from your Mylio Photos Library. This action cannot be undone. However, you can always Rescan Faces to tag these photos again.
