Mylio Photos+ lets you customize the sync policy for individual files, allowing you to adjust quality settings for specific photos, videos, and documents on each device. This feature is useful in various situations, such as:

  • Keeping the original-quality file of your wedding video on your phone so you can view it anytime, even without internet access.
  • Having a specific original-quality image on your laptop for detailed pixel editing with external applications while on the go.
  • Storing an optimized-quality version of your favorite family photo on your tablet or smartphone, ensuring you always have a high-quality version accessible away from your home network.

You can adjust the sync policy for individual files from either the Info Panel or the Storage Panel. Here’s how:

Adjusting the sync policy for an individual file from the Info Panel:

  1. Select a single photo, video, or document.
  2. Click the info icon at the top of the right sidebar to reveal the right panel and access the Info Panel.
  3. Click on the icon next to Sync Policy and select one of the following options:
    • Use Device Policy – Syncing for this image will follow the settings for this device.
    • Optimized – Always keep an optimized-quality version of this file on this device.
    • Original – Always keep an original-quality version of this file on this device.

Adjusting the sync policy for an individual file from the Storage Panel:

  1. Select a single photo, video, or document.
  2. Click the info icon at the top of the right sidebar to reveal the right panel and access the Storage Panel.
  3. Expand the section for Sync Policy (Local) and select one of the following options:
    • Use Device Policy – Syncing for this image will follow the settings for this device.
    • Optimized – Always keep an optimized-quality version of this file on this device.
    • Original – Always keep an original-quality version of this file on this device.
