Import From Photos for macOS, Photos for iOS, iPhoto, or Aperture

Importing photos from Apple Photos, your iPhone or iPad’s Camera Roll, or an iPhoto or Aperture library is a quick and easy way to populate your Mylio Library with some of your favorite photos.

Using Mylio With Photos for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and iCloud Photo Drive

Most iPhone users use the built-in camera to capture at least some of their images. Most photo apps, including the iPhone Camera app, store captured photos in the Camera Roll on your phone. These images are also typically synced to a user’s iCloud Photo Library. Sharing your iPhone photos with Mylio helps keep everything organized but takes a few steps to set up.

Mylio can access Apple Photos and the iCloud Photo Library in one of two ways:

• via the Mylio app on your iOS device
• via the Mylio app on your macOS computer
  

!NOTE: Before getting started, we recommend choosing one source: your iOS device OR your computer to avoid importing duplicate images into your Mylio Library.

!NOTE: Mylio is not currently compatible with optimized iCloud Photo Libraries. Mylio requires locally stored originals (on your Mac or iOS device) to successfully sync your photos.
