Mylio makes it easy to access advanced troubleshooting with the Show Support Options on Startup command.

  1. Open Mylio, click the View Menu in the Navigation Bar, and choose Help.

  1. Choose Show Support Options on Startup.

  1. Click the Close button to quit Mylio.

  1. Restart Mylio. The first screen you see will be Support Options.

Using the Support Options Menu

The Support Options menu has several choices to help resolve a variety of issues.

Contact Support – Opens a form within Mylio that allows you to directly contact our Support team and provides them with diagnostic data that can help them quickly resolve your issue.

Open in safe mode – Opens Mylio with many functions (like syncing and scanning for new files) turned off. In most cases, this will give you access to your photos when something may be causing Mylio not to open or operate unexpectedly.

Repair a catalog – In most cases, Mylio will alert you if your catalog needs to be repaired. You can also use this option to force a repair, even if you haven’t been prompted.

Factory Reset Mylio – This option restores Mylio to its original state and will allow you to start over. Resetting Mylio does not delete any photos.
