The following terms will help you better understand the import process.

Import – Importing is the process that adds files and photos to your Mylio Library.

Device – In Mylio, Device refers to a computer, external drive, cloud service, phone, or tablet that contains your photos and is synchronized with your Mylio Library.

External Drive – An External Drive is a storage device that is directly attached to your computer via USB or Thunderbolt.

Mylio Library Folder – The Mylio Library Folder is created the first time you run Mylio and will be the default location for future imports.

NASNAS is an acronym for a Network Attached Storage device. This is a special type of drive that multiple computers can typically see.

Vault – A Vault in Mylio is any device that stores a complete copy of all photos and videos in your Mylio Library.
