Mylio has three photo-quality sizes that can be stored on your devices:
- Thumbnails – A Thumbnail file is a small version of your photo (20-30 KB) that is typically used for referencing your full library. Thumbnails are ideal for devices with limited storage space. You can organize your library and add metadata while viewing Thumbnails, but editing options are limited.
- Previews – A Preview file is a medium-quality version of your photo (approximately 1 MB) that gives an accurate representation of your photo while taking up a fraction of the storage space necessary for the Original. Previews are often indistinguishable from the original and are fully editable. Previews created from Raw image formats retain a similar flexibility to the Original when recovering tonal details.
- Originals – An Original photo is the full-quality image file. File sizes can vary widely, depending on the resolution and pixel dimensions of the photo. Original photo files are fully editable.
