Customizing Calendar View

Mylio Photos’ Calendar View can be customized in various ways to help ensure your most important memories are front and center.

Adjusting how Mylio Photos Chooses the Cover Photo for Years, Months, and Days

Mylio Photos automatically picks a featured cover photo for each year, month, and day on your LifeCalendar. With Photo Prioritization, you can adjust how Mylio Photos chooses featured photos.

  1. Click the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu.
  2. Choose Settings, select Organization section and open Photo Prioritization.
  3. Click the handle next to each item to drag it up or down to change the priority.
    • Items at the top of the list are the highest priority. For example, if Five Star is moved to the top of the list, Mylio Photos will attempt to locate a 5-star image for each year, month, and day on your LifeCalendar or as the cover photo for a Folder or Album.

Hiding Media from the LifeCalendar

Mylio Photos allows users to hide media from their library. Select a file or folder, right-click your selection, or tap the kebab icon in the right sidebar to access the Actions menu, and select Hide File or Hide Folder. This automatically marks the selected media with the Private category. Next, switch to a Space other than Everything or Private to view your LifeCalendar without the hidden media. Customizing how Events are Displayed

Adding Events to your LifeCalendar creates a personalized experience by semi-automating the organization of special occasions and your favorite memories. Events can be created manually or by adding a Linked Calendar.

To customize how Events are displayed:

  1. Click the ellipsis icon in the top app bar to access the More menu.
  2. Choose Settings and select the LifeCalendar section.
  3. Adjust the following options:
    • Number of event bars to display – Adjust the number of displayed Event Bars on your Calendar. A higher number will show more Events on each Cover Photo, but it may appear cluttered. A lower number will look cleaner but display fewer events.
    • Hide events longer than – If an Event is longer than your specified timeframe, it will be hidden from the Calendar view.
