We genuinely believe you’ll love Mylio Photos. However, if you ever decide to leave Mylio Photos, you’ll find your photo library is in even better shape than when you started.
- Mylio Photos is not a closed ecosystem. All photos remain accessible on any computer or external drive you added to your account.
- Any organization you’ve done to remove duplicates or organize folders is reflected on your hard drives.
- All metadata you’ve added (such as face tags, ratings, labels, and keywords) is stored as industry-standard XMP sidecar files that other applications can see and use.
- Any GPS or map locations you’ve added will transfer as well.
The only items that are stored explicitly in Mylio Photos are the Albums, Calendar Events, and Categories you create.
Mylio Photos has four main parts:
- The application
- The Mylio System Folder Contains thumbnails and XMP metadata, and may also contain optimized images and originals, depending on your configuration.
- The application data (remembers where your photos are stored and contains Mylio Photos-specific organization information and application logs).
- Your Account
