1. Choose Google Drive from the Add a Cloud Service dialog. Select either Encrypt my files or Don’t encrypt my files, then click the Continue button.
  2. Log in to your Google account. Once signed in, click or tap Allow to give Mylio Photos+ access to your Google Account.
  3. Mylio Photos+ will analyze the Cloud service you choose and recommend a setup based on your Mylio Photos Library size and the available storage for the Cloud service you’re adding. In this example, Mylio Photos+ recommends that Google Drive be set up as a Vault, which will designate Google Drive to keep a complete copy of the Mylio Photos Library.
  4. Once you’ve selected your preferred sync policy, click or tap the Looks Good button to complete the setup. Google Drive will be added and visible in the Devices section of the Dashboard.

Hi Jim - Thanks for the feedback. We’ll consider adding that information in the next round of updates to the documentation. I also agree that a notification that sync is disabled would be very helpful. I’ll share that with our product team.

It should be mentioned here to enable syncing with cloud devices in the settings menu--I had that disabled and could not figure out why my computer would not sync. I found the setting by accident, and had definitely forgotten I had disabled it for some reason!

In the Devices Dashboard cloud devices should be annotated with some sort of emblem that notifies the user that cloud syncing is disabled.
