  • Drag and drop only works within Mylio Photos.
  • Dragging files into Mylio Photos from your desktop or another application will open the Add Media dialog.
  • Dragging files out of Mylio to external applications is not currently supported.

  1. Click Folders icon in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Navigation icon in the left sidebar to open the folder tree.
  3. Click on a folder to view its contents in the image window.
  4. Select the file(s) or folder(s)* you want to move.
  5. In the folder tree, locate the destination folder using the disclosure arrows ( and ) to expand folder levels as needed.
  6. Click and drag the selected items from the image window and drop them onto the destination folder in the folder tree.

Prompt Before Moving Files with Drag and Drop

Accidentally moving a file or folder is easy, especially when working quickly. To help prevent unintentional changes, Mylio Photos includes an option to display a confirmation prompt before completing any drag-and-drop action.

To enable or disable this prompt:

  1. Click the More Menu icon in the top app bar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go to the General section.
  4. Toggle the switch next to Confirm Drag and Drop Action to turn the prompt on or off.

When enabled, Mylio Photos will ask you to confirm any drag-and-drop move before it is completed.
