The QuickAlbum (formerly known as the Mylio Clipboard) is a powerful temporary staging area that allows you to gather photos from anywhere in your library and perform a variety of actions, including copying, moving, exporting, and adding to Albums.
The QuickAlbum includes several tools for managing selected photos:
- Add: Adds selected media to the QuickAlbum.
- Clear: Removes all media from the QuickAlbum.
- Select All: Selects all media currently in the QuickAlbum.
- Deselect: Deselects any currently selected media in the QuickAlbum.
- Copy: Copies the selected media in the QuickAlbum to the system clipboard.
- Paste: Pastes the contents of the system clipboard into the current container in Mylio Photos or directly into the file system.
- If pasting into an Album, the action is virtual (photos are added without moving them on disk).
- If pasting into a Folder, the action physically moves the files on disk.
- If pasting into the file system or another app, the files are copied to the selected location.
- Export: Opens the Export dialog using the selected media.
- Move: Opens the Move to Folder dialog to physically move selected files to a new location.
- Add to Album: Opens the Add to Album dialog to place selected media into one or more Albums.
How to Use the QuickAlbum
- From any view, select one or more images and drag them to the bottom of the screen to automatically open the QuickAlbum

in the right sidebar) and choose Add to > QuickAlbum.

- Use the buttons in the QuickAlbum panel to organize or take action on your selected photos. For example:
- Quickly move images between folders.
- Add multiple images to Albums without needing to reselect them.
- Export a curated group of images with a single command.
- Navigate to the desired destination and drag photos directly from the QuickAlbum to a folder or album.
- When finished, click Clear to empty the QuickAlbum.
