The QuickAlbum (formerly known as the Mylio Clipboard) is a powerful temporary staging area that allows you to gather photos from anywhere in your library and perform a variety of actions, including copying, moving, exporting, and adding to Albums.

The QuickAlbum includes several tools for managing selected photos:

  • Add: Adds selected media to the QuickAlbum.
  • Clear: Removes all media from the QuickAlbum.
  • Select All: Selects all media currently in the QuickAlbum.
  • Deselect: Deselects any currently selected media in the QuickAlbum.
  • Copy: Copies the selected media in the QuickAlbum to the system clipboard.
  • Paste: Pastes the contents of the system clipboard into the current container in Mylio Photos or directly into the file system.
    • If pasting into an Album, the action is virtual (photos are added without moving them on disk).
    • If pasting into a Folder, the action physically moves the files on disk.
    • If pasting into the file system or another app, the files are copied to the selected location.
  • Export: Opens the Export dialog using the selected media.
  • Move: Opens the Move to Folder dialog to physically move selected files to a new location.
  • Add to Album: Opens the Add to Album dialog to place selected media into one or more Albums.
